Stress and Anxiety

Stress and anxiety may be keeping you from living the life you would like to live. Anxiety or stress may be caused by relationships, work, life transitions, health issues, or financial issues. I can help you navigate through these concerns that come up for you. There are various ways of managing stress and anxiety such as CBT or mindfulness.

Self Esteem

Self-esteem issues often come from abuse, neglect, narcissistic parents, and trauma. Many adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse feel shame, embarrassed or fearful of talking about their experience with anyone. It is important to work through unresolved trauma in order to be able to move forward and have the opportunity to gain control of your life again and allow yourself to live the life that you want.

Grief & Loss

Grief is an area that individuals may feel they need to get over. Maybe someone has told you “You should be over it by now”. There are no rules for grieving. Everyone grieves in their own way, and it is okay to talk about your loss. Grief can come in many forms. Perhaps you are grieving the loss of a loved one, a beloved pet, the loss of a relationship or a job. Whatever it is you may not want to burden others with your feelings and thoughts.

Trauma

Trauma can manifest in our bodies in ways that you may not have thought of. They can show up as pelvic pain, back pain, headaches, and other areas of the body. Stress can easily exacerbate pain. I work with clients with chronic pain in various forms such as back pain from injuries or degenerative issues. I also work with migraines caused by various factors. I also work with those who have pelvic pain from surgery or trauma.
